Zetiq: Diagnostic Kits To Be Ready Within 3 Months

Bio-Light Expected to Begin Marketing of Kits To ID Cancer Cells

Zetiq Technologies, part of the Bio-Light Group, is expected to begin marketing kits for the identification of cancer cells within the next three months. This follows an agreement that Zetiq signed yesterday with the company Arad Biotech, which will produce the kits for them, preparing the first package to market the kits to research institutions.

The kits will be ready for marketing within three months, to clients from research institutes and laboratories. The company is not required to receive approval from regulatory agencies and is permitted to being marketing the kits as soon as they are ready.

The early manufacture of the kits is made possible by the collection and utilization of the company’s large store of information collected over years of research and development, following large-scale investment by the company’s earlier backers.

Zetiq reported last month that it had submitted seven requests for patents in the area of identification of cancerous cells.
